Poppyseed and Ham Sandwiches

There are some foods that are just classics: You can’t go wrong with some macaroni and cheese, Grandma’s red velvet cake or peanut butter crackers. If those are your default for family dinners or a pre-tournament snack, try adding these culinary staples to your recipe collection for a bit of something new.

Poppyseed and Ham Sandwiches

Beth Stewart, Woods of Parkview Senior Mixed A7

3 tbsp. mustard

½ cup minced onion

2 sticks of butter, softened

3 tsp. poppy seeds

1 tbsp. Worcestershire

Package of King’s Hawaiian Rolls

½ lb. ham

Package of Swiss cheese

 

Combine first five ingredients and spread on sliced rolls. Put ham on top, layer cheese on top. Wrap in foil and bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees.
